Piano Moving Services in Toronto
Pianos are heavy, delicate and valuable. N&N Brothers Moving Company moves upright pianos, digital pianos and grand pianos across Toronto with specialty equipment, full padding and trained hands.
Safe Piano Moving With the Right Equipment
A piano can weigh several hundred pounds, with most of that weight high up and off-centre. Moving one without the right gear risks damage to the piano, your floors and the people carrying it. Our piano movers use padded covers, heavy-duty dollies, straps and lifting techniques built for pianos.
Every piano is fully wrapped in thick moving blankets and secured with straps. Legs, pedals and lids are protected, and in our truck the piano is strapped upright against the wall so it cannot shift during the drive.
Toronto homes are full of narrow stairs, tight turns and condo elevators. We assess the route in advance and plan every turn before we lift.

Is my piano insured during the move?
We are licensed and insured and carry cargo insurance on customers’ belongings.
Will my piano need tuning after the move?
Pianos often need tuning after a move or a change in room conditions. We recommend booking a piano tuner a few weeks after the move.

Yes. We can include your piano in your full home move.
What is the cheapest way to move a piano?
Book it with the rest of your move, so you pay one crew instead of a separate trip, and clear a straight path to the door before we arrive. Ground-floor and elevator moves cost less than long stair carries.
How much does it cost to move an upright piano in Toronto?

Should you tip piano movers?
Tipping is optional. Some customers tip $20 to $40 per mover for a difficult stair move, but it is never expected.
Can you move a piano into a condo?
Yes. Most uprights fit in a service elevator. We measure the elevator and doorways first and book around your building’s elevator time.
